CT. 2nd KIDS DAY GATHER
Kids of all Ages :: This is an Invitation to the Second Kids Day Gather
at Rocky Neck State Park in Southeastern Ct.
On October 20,2002. we will gather at 10:00 am till sundown in the Main
Parking lot at Rocky Neck to exchange, visit and hunt for the many boxes
planted for this special day.
This is a "Newbie" group effort with the boxes being created and planted
by : Angel, Alafair, Bluebird, Butterfly, Lobsta, and The Gal Pals.
Letterboxer 2002 is again creating the event stamp. Bring yourself,
family , friends, and a smile, for we will hunt, stamp, beach walk, and
picnic the day away.
The surrounding towns are rich in letterboxes and there are motels handy
for those who wish to spend more time in our great shoreline
letterboxing area.
Come on down,
Butterfly

What a wonderful and thoughtful idea....
I'm sorry that my family cannot attend...We've just started letterboxing as
a great family project and this would have been perfect...

Now...one question...*grin*...does Kid's Day include those of us who have
never grown up...

Count us in too! As long as "big kids" are invited, Patrick, Ruth
and I will be there.

PS- Do labs count as kids?

You can count on three of us being there, possibly four if Max doesn't have to work that day.  We're looking forward to putting faces to the names we see on this list all the time!

Are you Ready ?? Ct . Kids Day is all planted and ready to GO. This is
just a heads up that there is also a Big Walk going on the same day in
the park. . I just checked out the route they will be walking, and you
guessed it -- right by many of the boxes and the way we will be walking
ourselves. This will be great practice for us to sharpen up our secret
stamping- in methods that some folks have been sharing.!! Could be
interesting. The parking lot will be crowded so just look for our
gather group with tables set up and flags flying. Somewhere ?? The
'Walk' has white tents all set up at the western end of the parking lot,
--that is not Us. !!! See you all there, the day will be perfect.
